Make Your Pickwick Lake Home Guests Feel Welcome

What’s the secret sauce to making people feel welcome in your Pickwick lake home? You might think it’s expensive sheets or towel warmers in the bathroom, but it’s really just as simple as making people feel special and appreciated when they visit.

Bathrooms: Provide toiletries and fresh towels
If you’re like me, you have an overnight bag that includes sample shampoo and conditioner bottles, but how nice is it when somebody provides this for you and you get to enjoy a nice shower after a day on Pickwick Lake? Better yet, be sure to wash the towels before your guests arrive. Those towels have likely been stuffed into the linen closet for months and need refreshing.

Bedrooms: Improve bedding, provide snacks, and check the room details
Make sure you have nice sheets, comfy pillows, and plenty of extra blankets and comforters. Nothing is worse than a bad night of sleep that leaves you sore and tired the next day. These sheets from Amazon are excellent and very affordable. Additionally, these memory foam pillows are sure to have your guests thanking you, just make sure you have a washable cover so you can freshly wash it right before they arrive.

General Tips
Be sure your home is tidy and packed with plenty of drinks and snacks. Have things planned to do while you have visitors. This could include a shopping trip, excursion trip, or just a day to hang out by the pool if you have one. Lastly, if your guests include children, be sure to accommodate them too. Pick up a game or craft to help entertain them.
